STFX is a DeFi & SocialFi protocol focused on short-term asset management. Our goal is to pioneer a new segment of DeFi and make asset management on the blockchain more fun and in line with the demands of the industry.

The Opportunity

STFX is seeking an experienced game (graphic) designer who will work on creative design, animation, and gamification for an application. The ideal candidate loves looking at systems for products and putting creative wrappers on them! You know how to think up fun events for users and put processes in place to roll them out. Creative vision is a must! This position sits in our Product area and reports to the Product Lead.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Conceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay design and UX while working closely with the design and product teams and lead
2. Design and animate the storyline, character back-stories, and dialogue, through storyboards, including any relevant research
3. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups) that details the triggers, interactions, and subsequent events of specific features or aspects of designed gameplay
4. Create animations for app features, campaigns, popups that will fit the main story narrative.
5. Work closely with design and product team to optimize user experience and story
6. Participate in planning sessions with the product team and other members to ideate web3 and traditional software solutions.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

1. Proven designing and animating experience in the game field (portfolio is needed)
2. 3 years experience with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and other)
3. A keen eye for aesthetics and details
4. Able to work in a team, but also willing to take the lead
5. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
6. A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
