Automation Test Engineer Full Time

Crossvale is looking for a passionate and motivated Automation Test Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test automation processes for on-prem, hybrid and cloud deployed applications.

• Managing expectations and providing guidance for client stakeholders
• Building trust and strengthening relationships with client contacts
• Developing and implementing automated frameworks, scripts, test plans, and test cases

• Transform business requirements into manual and automated tests
• Design and implement automated test framework
• Design, Develop and Execute automated test plans
• Maintaining and execute existing automation scripts
• Participating in functional testing
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the client solution and deliverables 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field required
• Strong analytical skills and ability to portray information in a logical well-organized manner
• Experience working with clients and fostering strong relationships
• 4+ years managing test cases and working with cross functional teams in agile
• 3+ years of experience writing automated tests or developing features including but not limited to writing and executing web application automated tests and automated API tests
• Experience with Test Automation technologies
• Experience maintaining and adjusting CI/CD testing pipelines

• Proven record of developing strong, positive relationships with the software development team, especially developers and business analysts
• 4+ years of experience coding in JavaScript, TypeScript or similar
• 2+ years of experience building end-to-end automation tests
• 2+ years of experience building APIs testing suites
• 2+ years of Selenium

• Experience with Cloud deployed application and tools (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Proficiency with some of the following tools:
  • SoapUI, Postman, JMeter, Rest Sharp, K6, Cucumber, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab

• Test Automation Tools and Strategies
• Testing Methodologies: Unit, Integration, System, Regression, Load, Performance
• Test Data creation, management, and grooming
