About the Role
Our Lead Content Marketer will be the point person of digital marketing efforts, primarily for us and also for our clients. The role requires a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, the motivations of those who work in it, and how strategic, creative consultancies create value for them.
We’re looking for a person with great marketing instincts and a competitive spirit—someone who’s driven to drive engagement, who combines a strategic mindset and creative thinking; and who thrives on connecting marketing ideas and execution to measurement and optimization. And we need a talented writer who knows how to effectively project a brand personality to meet the needs of different moments and venues.
There are the two primary areas in which our Lead Content Marketer will work:
Constructive Marketing: The primary focus (~75%) is to ensure that marketing for our firm is consistently executed at a high level. You’ll be responsible for turning our brand positioning and brand value into articles, case studies, webinars, and social media content that increases visibility and engages our ideal audiences. You’ll work closely with our Founder and with people across our firm to remain deeply connected to who we are, what we do, and why it matters. You’ll manage the process and ensure that our busy team consistently produces the written and designed content needed for our marketing.
Client Marketing: The secondary focus of the role is to help create marketing strategies and campaigns for our clients that build on the core work we do with them—developing their brand and designing the digital experiences that connect people to them. This is a growth area for Constructive’s services and you’ll work closely with our Director of Strategy and others to conceive of, recommend, and help execute marketing campaigns that increase the reach and impact of their brands.
