Senior QA Engineer Full Time

We are looking for a fully remote QA Engineer that is able to code automated tests to ensure the stability of our web applications.

What you will do

Ensure the quality of our products and systems

• Explore and evaluate product features through the development process through to delivery and beyond
• Prepare test plans, scenarios and acceptance criteria based on product features
• Plan and implement testing to ensure the stability of critical functionality
• Automate as much of the testing as possible

Work in a team environment.

• You’ll work with other QAs, software engineers, designers and product managers
• You’ll communicate your ideas and plan your work

What we need from you

• At least 5 years of commercial experience as a QA engineer or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of automated testing practices, including TDD and BDD approaches, preferably Selenium/Appium
• Good knowledge of Java and/or C#
• Solid experience testing APIs
• Experience with automating UI and acceptance tests
• Familiarity with exploratory testing techniques
• You are able to prepare test plans, test scenarios and can execute test scripts
• Familiarity with version control using Git and associated workflows
• Good communication skills
• A strong desire to learn and to contribute to the team’s work

Other skills and experience you might have

• Familiarity with JS based testing frameworks
• Familiarity with PHP based testing frameworks
• Experience helping software engineers to add the right tests to their work
• Experience working with modern CI/CD tooling
• Experience working in cross functional teams
• Previous experience in the health, wellness, hospital, pharmaceutical or digital industries
• An eye for user behaviour and design
