Tanooki Labs is looking for an energetic, experienced and talented Product Manager to join our team and play a critical role in product strategy and project logistics. Every project we work on is different and will require a unique balance of project, product, and people management. You are able to translate product goals into backlogs and prioritized features that effectively deploy resources
You are able to identify and communicate risks to estimated timelines and propose mitigation plans
You are organized and are comfortable maintaining project plans/scopes/summaries, meeting agendas, and a wide array of project documentation n
You are comfortable balancing multiple projects and tasks and are able to prioritize with autonomy
This is a full-time position, based out of your home office (must be in the US).
What you’ll need:
3+ years in software project/product management
Experience managing multiple large, complex software projects at the same time
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder needs
Experience managing elements of the product development lifecycles, such as product direction, driving requirements, and product launch
Experience with project/task management platforms (Pivotal Tracker, Slack, Jira, etc..)
Experience working in an agile development environment
Knowledge of the technologies that make the web work and a passion for staying current as the landscape evolves. You don’t have to know how to code, but you should know an API from an NDA.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication and presentations skills
Why you’ll love it here:
Great benefits (401K, health/dental/vision, pre-tax commuter and FSA/HSA benefits, etc.)
Generous vacation policy
Paid parental leave
